Nasrin is the grown daughter of Msaed Montgomery and the late Bonnie Clarke. She has mixed English, Scottish and Kuwaiti heritage. Nasrin's mother, Bonnie, was suffering from a blood malediction which she hid from her husband Msaed. When Bonnie became pregnant with Nasrin, she didn't tell her husband. Nasrin's parents were temporarily separated when Bonnie noticed she was pregnant. She decided to carry Nasrin to term and then gave her up for adoption. Nasrin therefore grew up without knowing her parents and has wanted to meet them or find out more about them all her life. One day, when she finds herself in danger, she discovers an amulet among the few things her mother left for her. It unexpectedly takes her to her father's home in Castle Combe.

Nasrin loves the woods and outdoors and works for a magical greenhouse. She's friends with Suzanne and Dhanya who both have professional links to the greenhouse.

Laverna Ashworth

65+, English, blood status open, cis-straight - Carmen Dell'Orefice

The right honourable Laverna Ashworth is a member of a wizengamot. She's recently become suspicious of strange things happening around her in the ministry. In order to help her figure out what's going on, she has called on her old friend Msaed Montgomery, a rather dashing former cursebreaker who now teaches Divination at Hogwarts.

I'd so much love to do a best-ager romance of two people finding love very late in life and discovering their inner child again.

There is also a lot of potential here to meet everyone else involved in the misnistry conspiracy which spans across many characters on the site.

Declan's Relations

Máirtín Ó Fáilbhe


35 - 45, Irish, pureblood, cis-straight - Eoin Macken for character Declan O'Dwyer (Jaco van den Hoven) and possibly Aoibheann Ní Dhálaigh (Andrea Riseborough)

Máirtín is a pureblood gentleman from one of the Gaeltacht areas of Ireland. He loves languages and travel and is a successful professional author of wizarding fiction. Máirtín is the oldest son of an Irish pureblood family. He's gotten caught up in some of the rhetoric of the Dark Lord and his Death Eaters and is struggling to figure out which side he stands on. Máirtín is very close with his best friend Declan who comes from a similar background but is politically more aligned with Dumbledore. Aside from that the two have a lot in common. A shared love of the arts, Irish history and of course horses, magical or otherwise.

It's been said that Gaeltacht beauty Aoibheann Ní Dhálaigh is a big fan of his work and would love to get to know him. However, she is quite shy and a book of mysteries.

I'd love seeing this character played because I think it would be fun to explore how much strain a friendship can take. If Máirtín joins the Death Eaters or not is entirely up to whoever would like to play him. Name and faceclaim are changeable. However, it would be nice if the name could stay Irish.

Healer Madely Beaugendre


40 - 45, Swiss, blood status open, been with a man once but otherwise also open - Marion Cotillard for character Aurelius Audish (Peter Capaldi) and possibly Odhrán Ó Dálaigh (Gabriel Byrne)

Healer Madely Beaugendre is a senior healer at St Mungo's hospital who specialises in spell damage. In our timeline, her department has a corrupt boss who has taken the Dark Mark. Madely is growing increasingly suspicious of her boss, Healer Audish, and would like nothing better than to somehow get him sacked. She's a Swiss extraction, originally from Romandy, but has been settled in the United Kingdom for many years. Madely enjoys being independent, helping people and learning more about the world. She is firmly just friends with her former healing student Odhrán with whom she shares a tumultuous romantic past.

Name is set on this character, but faceclaim is entirely changeable.


Odhrán's Relations

Odhrán's relations are really smaller, side characters. I wouldn't recommend these necessarily if you want a full roster of threads with them. They're limited.

Professor Helene von Wittgenstein
58 - Professor of Alchemy and Magical Arts at Collège & Lycée von Aspermont, Switzerland - pureblood
Faceclaim: Senta Berger
Helene is Odhrán's mentor and dearest friend. She is a natural born legillimens and an impressive serial monogamist, currently enjoying her 5th marriage. She is a powerful and independent witch who doesn't put up with nonsense from anybody. She works as a teacher at a small and exclusive Swiss school, which is where she met Odhrán when he was still a student. Aside from a lifelong fascination with the mind arts there two share a passion for music, three languages and a professional interest in spagyric alchemy.

Healer Severin Seive-Mauvernay
30 - Healer at Hôpital Magistra Hersend, Paris - halfblood
Faceclaim: Aaron Taylor-Johnson
Severin hails from Annecy France. He loves horses and travel. Despite being very young, he runs his own department at Hôpital Magistra Hersend. He is a former student of Odhrán's and a distinguished alchemist. He has potion making in his blood, with both his parents working in the industry. Severin is friends with Helene (above) and Madely (also above) by virtue of being part of Odhrán's inner circle and an enemy of Aurelius Audish who holds a comparable position to his at St Mungo's hospital.
